What type of bike am I looking for
To undertake a bike tour in New Zealand, you need a bike capable
of standing up to the rigours of this diverse countryside. We
offer New zealand's largest selection of well-serviced bikes with
Shimano deore 27 speed componentry as miminum.
We believe that anything less is not capable of dealing with
the demands of bike touring in New Zealand. Don't accept poor
quality 21 or 24 speed lower specification cycles unless you want
to risk sitting on the roadside when they break down. High specification
Shimano LX and XT componentry cycles offer slightly improved performance
and weight reduction on the bike. However, the difference relative
to deore is small and the costs are markedly higher.
For these reasons we believe shimano deore specification cycles
offer the quality and value you will require to get the best out
of your New Zealand cycling experience.
Contact us to discuss
your needs. Our experienced staff are able to help with all your
cycling needs.
We specialise in quality independent New Zealand
bike tours (and here's some good reasons
to let us do the work, while you enjoy the ride). Check out our
cycling tour prices.
We are based in Christchurch & Auckland , but bikes can
be picked up and dropped off at a large number of locations around
New Zealand; including our agents in Wellington, Nelson, Blenheim,
Greymouth, Wanaka, Queenstown, Dunedin and invercargill.
The Auckland office is now open with free bike delievery in Auckland
by arrangement ph. 021 263 0535
Contact us for further
information.
All mountain, road and hybrid bikes are 2009 model or later,
so you can be
sure you are riding a top quality state-of-the-art bike.
Because of our aim of providing new, or near-new bikes on all
tours, we also have a number of excellent quality second-hand
bikes for sale. |

is required to reserve your booking. To ensure availability over the busy
summer period, we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment.
We have the largest selection of bikes for hire in New Zealand, so should
the bike you want not be available for any reason, a bike of similar or
superior specifications will be supplied. And be assured that these bikes
are not the cheaper alternatives offered by other companies.
The bikes are thoroughly checked after every hire, so you can be assured
of a well serviced, quality bike for your hire. We are based in Christchurch,
but bikes can be picked up and dropped off at a large number of locations
around New Zealand; including our Auckland and Wellington agents in the
North Island.
