with 8 days cycling to the top of the South Island and the beautiful Marlborough
Sounds.
This tour takes you from Christchurch to Kaikoura and the
spectacular Pacific Ocean’s coastal scenery. Then it’s on
to the vineyards of Blenheim, before the relaxed pace of the Marlborough
Sounds.
From Anakiwa it’s back to Blenheim for a quick bike
around the vineyards to end the trip.

We will meet you at your accommodation in Christchurch with bicycles
and equipment
and you then cycle to Waipara. |

Sightseeing day in Kaikoura, where you can take in a whale and dolphin
watching tour,
swimming with the seals, or any of the many other attractions, before an afternoon cycle to Kekerengu |

Blenheim to Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds |

End of tour with a free morning to visit the vineyards before the afternoon train back to Christchurch
or continue on our 19 day or 28 day top of the south tour to Christchurch/Queenstown. Additional option
of a further day in Blenheim to visit the vineyards [*adds $125NZD per person]. |

Accommodation
Seven nights accommodation in twin rooms with bathroom ensuite
[where available], in carefully selected B&B's, home stays and small,
friendly motels (Breakfast included).
Difficulty
This is a moderate to demanding level route with an average
50 to 100 kms cycling per day and a number of moderate hill climbs along
the route.

Your gear can be waiting for you at the end of each day. This service costs an additional $850 per person (minimum of 2 people) although a discount is available for 3 or more people.
